Our Patient Services Team is committed to making sure every patient’s experience with us is a good one—during and after treatment. We connect and coordinate patients with local cultural, educational, entertainment and recreational events and resources during their stay.

We want to make the process of getting treatment as easy as possible. A physician review board will evaluate your case and determine if you can benefit from protons.

Physicians

The physicians at the Northwestern Medicine Proton Center are among the most regarded thought leaders of their industry with experience and access to a variety of radiation oncology services. The physicians are invested in advancing the science of proton therapy. The Center runs and participates in a number of clinical trial studies. In fact, 90 percent of all NM Proton Center patients participate in a clinical trial or enroll in a clinical data registry.

The Northwestern Medicine Proton Center is conveniently located just outside Chicago in Warrenville, Illinois, about 30-40 minutes from both O’Hare International Airport and Chicago Midway International Airport. Chicago climate

Competitive Rates

The Northwestern Medicine Proton Center provides proton therapy services at rates competitive with other proton centers in the United States. For some patients, we offer a case rate which includes all associated radiation therapy services required upon landing. Any additional ancillary services related to our proton therapy services will be provided by our clinical partners at a cost agreed upon prior to your arrival.

Prior to the patient’s arrival, all diagnostic procedures should be completed in collaboration with the treating proton radiation oncologist and the patient’s medical team.
